Marina Bay Sands
In May 2006, Las Vegas Sands Corp. was selected by the government of Singapore to build the Marina Bay Sands®. The plan for the resort includes three 50+ story hotel towers that will house approximately 2,600 rooms, Singapore’s first casino, and 1.2 million square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and business space. It will also feature the region’s first museum; entertainment programming spanning Broadway, Bollywood, music, sports fashion; a high-end retail mall; world-class spa and fitness facilities; and fine-dining restaurants showcasing gourmet cuisines from award-winning chefs. Marina Bay Sands opened its first phase on April 27, 2010.
